shujin's self-proclaimed "troublemaker" and "disruptive problem student", ryuji sakamoto is, for lack of a better word, seen as a bad person to those who aren't close to him - and still a jerk to those who are. it doesn't help that his short-tempered nature and ability to take offense from most comments about him often make him resort to threats. although don't let his grades nor attitude persuade you from befriending him! regardless of what people say, ryuji is actually a pretty decent guy! when you're around the guy, a smile is practically inevitable! he also often doesn't take things seriously as a result... but when something goes against his moral code, be prepared for him to go against your views or actions. finally, after ren came into the picture, he tries to improve himself in many ways he didn't before. he'd work out again, improve on his confidence, and even, which also came to a shock to him, work on his grades!
